About
know good & well was created by caroline collins—a 500-hour registered yoga teacher, certified sound healing practitioner, and public health change-maker with over a decade of experience supporting well-being from the inside out.
at its core, know good & well exists to help people slow down, reconnect, and tend to themselves with intention—especially for black and brown millennials like herself who have been taught to push through and place their own needs last.
the phrase “you know good and well” is something caroline’s mother often said when she—or anyone—needed a direct reminder that they knew better. as a black woman in corporate america who was also a single parent, her mother’s well-being often took a back seat to life’s demands. her mother’s health challenges— including those triggered by stress and exhaustion—motivated caroline to challenge the hustle culture status quo. caroline has redefined “know good and well” as an invitation to know how to care for yourself deeply, so that you can feel good and live well.
outside of kgw, Caroline is a public health communications leader at a fortune 100 consulting firm. she has led health communications campaigns for numerous clients in the federal government, including the national institutes of health (nih), the centers for disease control and prevention (cdc), u.s. navy, and more.
